Anti-transpirant spray for use on ornamental plants

When applied to plant tissue by spraying or dipping, the diluted Wiltpruf polymerises and forms a thin, transparent coating over the tissue. This coating is permeable to gases but relatively impermeable to liquid vapours.

This unique property allows normal plant respiration, but preserves moisture by reducing transpiration by up to 80%. It helps protect planted out nursery stock and container grown plants, protects plants during transit, and reduces water loss during transplanting, increasing plant survival rates.

It can also be used to protect trees and shrubs from salt spray and windburn in seaside locations, and to reduce needle drop on harvested Christmas trees.
